Hi everyone.
I'm using dolphin 3.0 and shake function is working fine when I play Mario Kart Wii. I'm using wired PS3 controller and I've configured button R2 for shake (X axis, range 100). But I noticed that the same configuration is no longer functioning on Dolphin 4.0.
I've tried a lot of settings, but no success yet. On Dolphin 3.0 works perfectly fine.
Someone was able to configure it correctly? If yes, could you please share how to configure it?
Thanks very much.
Try setting shake to X Y and Z (all the same button).
Hi ExtremeDude. Thank you very much for your reply.
On Dolphin 3 is very precise when I need to riding my motorcycle on back wheels only. But this is my most issue on this game on Dolphin 4.
So, I've tried set up at X Y and Z and I have no success. I've updated Dolphin to version 7481 and worked, but very imprecise. For instance: If I press the key 10 times, 4 shake happens. This is very strange, the kart becomes a little out of control if I hold the button for a few time.
Which version do you use? And works fine for you?

Why do you have set this up for use with a regular Wii remote? Try mapping your buttons to a Gamecube controller. The game fully supports it, and you won't have to take count of shaking. D-UP is wheelie/tricks for a Gamecube controller.
Oh, are you trying to do a wheelie? You probably shouldn't be using shake, I would guess tilt (up for wheelie, down to stop).
Hi Anthe. So, I've tried using like a gamecube controller, but for unknown reasons don't worked for me. I was not be able to configure it properly, I guess.
Hi ExtremeDude. Yes, I'm trying to do a wheelie, but I was not be able to emulate it in my PS2 controller. But, I reckon you are right about the Tilt. I did not try to configure using Tilt. I will test and post the results asap.
Can you share your configuration with us? Here's mine for an Xbox One controller, though I've used it with a PS3 controller once as well. Can't remember if I had to switch certain buttons though.

Hi.
Thank you all for the tips about the controller. I've updated again for 7624 and coincidence or not, it's more precise now.
I've tried to use classic controller following your advices and in fact worked fine after I've configured, but I prefer using emulated wiimote. Follow my updated config.
Anthe, thank you for sharing your xbox config. I'm thinking to buy 2 xbox controllers to use in my computer. I've read in foruns that the xbox controller is more comfortable than PS controller. I would like it if you give me your opinion about that.

Xbox controllers are the holy grail of PC gaming. You will be able to play all your PC games which support and don't support controllers (Thanks, Joy2Key), you can use it in all your emulators.. It's 60 bucks well spent.
There are gazillions of reliable ways of making a PS3/4 controller expose itself as an XInput-compliant pad, and once that's set up, they're equally as functional as a real XBox controller, and only have the issue that they're too small for the hands of an adult human. This is not a situation to recommend that the OP parts with their money.
