Great article!

I have a question about Zelda Wind Waker. Its page on Dolphin Wiki says it needs LLE audio emulation for perfect audio. Is that still true?

Code:
Sound Problems
Since 4.0-1300, sound and music will no longer cut out with DSP HLE, and the Jingle hangs are gone. However various volume and pitch issues remain, and there are audio glitches with climbing ladders. Use DSP LLE for perfect audio.
^ That's outdated, the wiki needs to be updated. HLE audio is fine for Zelda, Mario games, no need to use LLE anymore.
Thanks for the answer. By "fine" you mean perfect, just like LLE?

It shouldn't be possible to hear any difference at all between HLE and LLE.
Great article, and great work by the dev team, thank you for all of your efforts.

Oh god that's hilarious.

Anyone mind testing if the first two Harry Potter games are fixed? I recall the first one having audio glitches to the point of being unplayable the and second had some minor crackling.

Alaster

Hello :-) I am new here. I only logged in to say that the sound files' descriptions in the "https://dolphin-emu.org/blog/2015/08/19/new-era-hle-audio/" page are off. Different tiles for different sounds. Also the sound graph of its sound is proceeding some time slower than what is heard: in the constant beeping noise sound in the GameCube Bios in Old-Zelda-HLE, for example, the beeping is heard before the first graph rectangle lights up.
DZCreeper: No idea if they work now, but they wouldn't be fixed by NZHLE since those games don't use the Zelda ucode. (There is still the possibility that the other DSP fixes could have solved the problem)...

Alaster: I don't have the problem with the descriptions being wrong. Although, I do have the slow sound graph issue. That might be an issue with SoundCloud's player.
