Lol
I've been one of those users, but I should really get off my ass and switch over to 5.0rc.
5.0 RC works very well so far, but I still can't fantom why some games like Donkey Kong returns works better with this version than ever but old games like Mario Kart who used to work 100% version 3.5 now lag as hell with 5.0 RC !?

Perhaps you talk about the intro race shader caching lag? You need to play the game with the new version of dolphin in order to build up the shader cache files needed by it.

Because *demanding* graphical effects (such as lens flare) that didn't work with v3.5 are now rendered properly with 5.0-rc.
Also because of the switch from inaccurate (floating-point) to accurate (integer) pixel processing on the GPU.
Users with *old* NVIDIA GPUs will experience a huge drop in performance (>30%).
P.S.
5.0-rc-19 is out.
Hi,
There is one issue with 5.0-rc-19 about the keyboard shortcuts, in the system of win8.1-x64.
When I just launch the emulator and start the game, the keyboard shortcuts work perfectly well. But if I press “Ctrl+Alt+Delete” to switch to windows screen while I’m playing the game, and switch back to the emulator immediately afterwards, then all the keyboard shortcuts will not work at all.
I think it is an issue only with the newer versions of emulator, because I also tested the old version of 4.0.2 and there was no such problem.
Thanks!
Running 5.0-19. Overall impressions are very good; a lot of things that used to be slow are now full speed, so kudos on that. Here's the rap sheet from my testing so far. Both seem to be Zelda ucode stuff:
1. The title screen music in Mario Sunshine is glitched. Like, it's silent for a while, then it plays a bunch of instruments at once. Perhaps a timing issue that happens when you skip the intro?
2. The music in MK Double Dash is much quieter than the sound fx. I assume this is a known issue since it was mentioned briefly in the big blog post
These are both with HLE + OpenAL, Windows
The zelda ucode rewrite is not in the release candidate.

They were merged (
4.0-7286) well after the cut off (
4.0-6727).
I haven't used Dolphin in a while, and I decided to try to boot up an play Okami. When I try to run it in 4.0.2 it runs fine, aside from the issues already listed on the wiki. But when I try either the latest development build or the latest release candidate, I haven't been able to get past the "Now loading" screen without the game slowing to a 3fps crawl.
Check what your framelimit is set to. Make sure its at Auto and not 5

That fixed it, and I feel dumb now. Thank you.
