As soon as he was made aware of it, Armada pushed the IRGUI update into the release candidates! 5.0-rc-7 has it.
Awesome

. Testing it now.
Make one for 32 bit version.
Dolphin hasn't supported x86 for a long time. There will never be another x86 release, so you'll need to upgrade your OS to x64 (which you can do for free with Vista/7/8 x86 editions).
Hmmm, it's been quite a while since I booted Dolphin, so maybe once I get back home from my vacation I will download and run a 5.0 build. Incidentally, it has also been quite a while since my last upgrade to a newer development version, and this will be my first time trying what I suppose is a major development build.
Say, any word on what features will included in Dolphin 5.0 and later?
In any case I look forward to trying out the Dolphin team's latest work!

Everything that's in the progress reports of May 2015 and earlier:

Dolphin 5.0 will have direct connect for GC adapters disabled by default to alleviate some serious bugs users have been running into if they didn't have an adapter. Something to be mindful of, GC adapter users. You can still go into Controller Settings and enable it if you have a fresh install. If you have an existing config, your settings won't change.
should we start creating new system requirements for the FAQ page? with the new stable release the old information will misinform users, both because Dolphin has improved and can run faster on worse stuff, and with new technology (intel's new iGPU should be mentioned as fine for Dolphin)
This will also be the first stable version with no x86 edition, so there will probably be a lot of questions unless the wiki mentions it in huge bold letters (and even if it does, there will still probably be a lot of questions

).

The FAQ has been updated many times since 4.0. Did you read it before you made those comments?

There is nothing wrong on it! We'll go over it again before the release of course, tweaking as needed, adding new chips like the skylake chips and the 9xx series of geforces, etc etc, but there isn't much that needs to be done.
As for Intel's "new iGPU", it is powerful, but the drivers are still garbage. >_<

That will be noted in the 5.0 release announcement, and there's still the 32bit obituary...
