I saw an option to insert a Wii NAND.
What is the benefit of doing that?
I think it used to be use to get on the Nintendo servers and such for multiplayer in games like MK Wii and all that; don't know what it can be used for now those are gone, though
It can be useful for transferring saves and channels from a real Wii. Other than that, there's a small number of programs that require files that only can be found in a proper NAND dump.

hmm... I can't seem to make it work.
Zestig throws an error, something to do with 79.H>C
Wii nandextract does the same but extracts the rest of the nand.
And then Dophin doesn't detect the nand.
Tried both
C:\Program Files\Dolphin-x64\Sys\Wii
and
C:\user\Documents\Dolphin Emulator\Wii

Any suggestions?

And is multiplayer on nintendo servers no longer possible?

It's impossible since they shut the servers down.

ow, I just found out.
In that case I'll pass on installing the nand.
I believe MK Wii at the very least has a 3rd party server of sorts somewhere.. What was that called again?
It's Wiimmfi, but you need a real NAND as they blocked Dolphin's defaults.

Got the nand working.
Thanks for the help guys.
I'll check out Wiimmfi later, Mario Galaxy first xD
