I didnt give up that easily, when i went to re edit my build i managed to use a 7200rpm 1tb hard drive and a corsair psu, and still manage to be under his price, when subtracting OS and optical drive.

H81 and G3258 ? Good luck with that . If that mobo doesn't have bios update for Haswell Refresh , G3258 will not run . Not all people know how to update bios , it's not as easy as overclocking
