Whenever I attempt to join a SSBM game via netplay (traversal), and I enter the code the host gave me, their dolphin will proceed to crash. This occurs for me as well when someone attempts to connect when I'm hosting.

Currently I'm on Windows 7, using version 4.0-7138, have all three general basic settings checked in configuration (dual core, idle skipping, cheats, all enabled); JIT Recompiler; DSP HLE emulation... which were all defaults. I also forwarded the 2626 port (TCP/UDP), although I didn't see an option to change the port manually in the Dolphin GUI. I allowed Dolphin through my firewall as well. Global Melee Netplay Settings is enabled. Generally I tried my best to stick to the guide at http://smashboards.com/threads/dolphin-o...ay.335432/ yet the crashes persist.

Please assist. Huh
That guide is quite outdated, it's saying to use DC-Netplay 4.0-652. You are using the same Dolphin version as the host, correct?
I doubt it. I've been trying match-making with random people at https://www.smashladder.com/netplay , and I highly doubt everyone uses the same version of Dolphin when joining games.

Edit: Actually I think they do. I'll try that.
There is some coordination, as I think everyone there uses 4.0-6554 for Netplay. (NOTE: The same Dolphin version must be used across all users to prevent desyncs/crashes!)
