I never have this issue on my desktop because I know my desktop is more than capable of running Dolphin just fine. If I had to take a wild guess, it's because of my laptop.
I've had Dolphin crash on me just browsing the menus and even while just have it running idly while browsing the Internet. I've also had it crash on me while playing games, so I'm not sure what exactly it is that's causing the crashes. I just have a hunch that it's my underwhelming laptop.
I have an Aspire V which means it has
Windows 8.1 64
Intel i5-5200U @ 2.2GHz
8 gigs of ram
The integrated graphics card reads "5500, up to 3839 MB Dynamic Video Memory."
I already know my cpu and its clockspeed and lack of an actual video card aren't very optimal for running Dolphin, but Super Smash Bros Melee ran perfectly fine. I have the graphics low, but it played surprisingly fine. That's what's confusing me as to why it keeps crashing on me. Any thoughts? All help is always appreciated.
