Try turning off "16x anisotropy filtering" under Enhancements. Anisotropic filtering can be quite solw on older Radeons.
You're already running at 640x480, so you should get the fastest possible speed on your computer. Perhaps your CPU is too weak to generate code fast enough?

is this patch working for games that need TLB hack?
its crashing here

Again, this patch doesn't modify anything beyond the preallocation of memory. TLB, cheats, Idle Skipping, Dual-Core... They'll all work as normal. None of that code was touched.
If you're having issues with any of those features, you'd most likely be having those issues with an unpatched copy as well.
I'll be building the latest revision shortly, posting a DL link once it's ready. Perhaps a new rev will get rid of some of the issues people have been experiencing.
Updated to 4479 w/ DolphinIL.

Cheers once again dstruct2k for the patched version. DL/ing now to see if this works well on Crossover Games for mac (oddly, normal Crossover doesn't have the 1gb issue. But normal Crossover isn't intended for proper gaming

dstruct2k: if TLB hack is enabled then some extra memory is allocated and it seems that wont work with this patch

The bigger issue is that 32-bit OS's seem to have issues accessing/allocating large amounts of memory. This is because 32 bits of memory mapping equate to a maximum of 4GB addressed system memory - this also includes BIOS ROM and video RAM. A 512MB video card means you're left with just under 3.5GB of RAM space left for application memory.
Further reading for those that are interested.
I'm sure we can find another workaround for the TLB hack... But we're gonna run out of space eventually. This patch is designed to be able to run Dolphin on a 32-bit OS. Further issues are not the concern at this point. Perhaps I'll take a look at the TLB code and see what can be done, but I'm not about to rewrite Dolphin to fix these "issues". (I don't have any of these issues - I run a 64-bit OS.)
I'm not trying to say these issues aren't worth fixing, I'm just saying that it's beyond the scope of this patch. I'm not an expert coder -- hell, I'm learning as I go and hoping to do things right. I've made a version that allocates 50% more RAM than this one, but it's untested. I'll get a copy of that up as soon as I can with the latest revision; maybe that'll help with TLB. Not a clue if it will, but I'm hoping.
