Hello. I am requesting knowledge on how 16:9 hacks for games are usually made. The reason for this is that I would like to be able to make one for Pokemon Colosseum JP, as none of the codes on the wiki work with the JP version, and the basic Dolphin widescreen hack is predictably terrible. I do have basic hex editing knowledge and experience, but I don't know the format of AR/Gecko codes, nor do I know where to look to find the information I need. Would anyone be willing to assist me in my endeavors?
What about using Swiss to get a 16:9 aspect ratio?
I hadn't heard about this before you mentioned it, but after playing around a bit to get it to work, it seems to crash Dolphin consistently when I try to start the game. This is using a .dol of 0.3 r296, which was the latest version I could find (I don't know if it's actually the latest version).
