Does Dolphin need .Net Framework in regards to performance improvement or does it have no effect at all?
It has no effect. Dolphin doesn't even use .NET.
Ok thanks, suspected it had something to do with it but I guess not.
.NET is practical, but slower and less flexible than classic C++ (it uses a .NET virtual machine between the program and the OS, like JRE for JAVA)
Anyway, it would broke Linux, Mac (even if they have MONO) and Android builds.
