I don't think it will work for .ssd files from Monster Hunter 3, as those don't seem to be supported. But I will try.
vgmstream doesn't support a audio file? sure doesn't happen alot! :/

in_cube detects its 15sec but doesn't play it. sure thats an audio file?
100%. It is one of the larger files in the sound folder of the game and all those large files are .ssd files, so...

BTW, this is on-topic. Try in_cube or vgmstream on your audio files.

Hm, I tried every filetype in the sound folder of the game now, none works Sad
You could easily extract the instrument samples with some hackery in Ucode_Zelda_Voice.cpp in the HLE plugin.
