lol you know you can hack the start menu to look live windows xp...lol just downgrade what it looks like...you know go from win 7 style to windows XP 2000 style...i forgot where its at...but in vista it causes a speed increase for dolphin...vista theme takes up some cpu and ram...
vitsa aero theme does...
i get a faster boot time with 7 over vista
but that has nothing to do with dolphin tho.....lol
After the installation of my Video Card, the boot time was about 5 seconds faster
Vista 32 bit.
either will do fine make sure you get a 64 bit version though
vista? you mean seven!
for me xp or seven
on xp use the 32 bits version
on seven use the 64 bits

im quite a retrogamer but im just saying that if u get 64 bit vista as i have done, in which, none of the games i tried intalled and ran without problems. Same with vista 32 except there are more 3rd party workarounds. Imho dolphin is the only thing that will run well on vista 64. Even cryostasis, which is a fairly new game, i believe, does not have 64 bit support. Also there are alot of driver troubles not just finding them but some that do not exist like the chipset for my MoBo

It works for me, and even faster than XP.
Are you on an Intel Chipset btw>?
My only issue with vista is compatibility. Fix that, and it would be a splendid OS

i have had no problems using 64bit as it also supports 32 bit, although i hear some people have problems for some reason... like u
