Windows 7 is what Vista should've been when it was released; but structurally, they're the same. Vista/Windows 7 runs Dolphin much better IMHO.
Vista Tongue
seven is better

emotionless82

yea seven might be better but no one knows.... hell the full version is not even out yet everyone has the RC version
Why do you say that vista is better? or xp is better?
Has anyone done any benchmarks with dolphin? link?
From the test i saw with commercial games they are pretty much the same. (altough xp is sometimes a bit better.)
What matters whether you have a 32 bit or 64 bit os. (64 bit is better)
i've testet dolphin on XP 64 SP1, SP2 and on Vista 64 SP1, SP2 on both systems i used the newest DirectX version and also the newest gfx driver. well i have to say that on XP the emu ran damn slow i couldn't figure out why while on vista the emu runs pretty well - my system runs many games in fullspeed. however i'm not sure if it was really WinXP which caused that problem maybe it was some kind of an other outdated driver
Anyone tried Windows XP x64 ? It's crap!
So everyone who prefers a x64 OS needs Vista or Winows 7..
And to be honest, there are nearly no speed differences between Windows 7 RTM and my tweaked vlited Vista64 version.
So the choice is yours!

You have to remember XP is from 2001 when no one even had such a thing as Dual Cores or a SATA drive. Now all this new hardware runs on Windows XP but the OS was never designed to run it really

thats exactly right
GO VISTA...

TOUCHDOWN YAYYYYYYYYYY
Vista by far.
