Hey everyone! My friend and I were wondering if it's possible to play local multiplayer games online, specifically Dokapon Kingdom.
I could be mistaken, and if so I apologize, but to me it sounds like NetPlay is used for games with online capabilities, such as Smash Bros. or Mario Kart.
Dolphin's netplay function is used exactly for playing local multiplayer games online. It is also possible to play online multiplayer games online using Dolphin, but it's done in a very different way.

Thank you very much. I'll look into NetPlay again. I was reading the NetPlay guide and it suggested using version 3.0, does it have to be 3.0 or can it be a later version?
I don't know what netplay guide you were reading, but do not use 3.0.

Isn't that guide a bit outdated now too? Could use for some editing. There's deterministic dual core and a rudimentary NAND sync now which allows for dual core to work on most Netplay games and not requiring the Wii NAND to be synced. "
The only known exceptions to this rule are
Mario Party 4
and
Kirby Air Ride
, which always work with Dual Core mode" is certainly not true anymore. Most of the features from the dc-netplay branch are in master now. Also some other things like LLE on dedicated thread being in there should be taken out. Just my two cents.
I assumed it was up to date, but if nothing else it is far newer.
bring it up to shonumi or someone else who can edit the page
