That makes sense. I think this thread is fine for my question, though. Not a lot of activity in this thread anyways.
So does anyone know how to make/edit gecko codes? Or can anyone get the code to work fine for them? Maybe I'm just doing something wrong.

This issue has been resolved. The code only works for the classic controller, not the wiimote.
