What do you mean dumped it?
Made an image of a physical disk, i.e. the only legal way to get the game to Dolphin in the first place, and what you did earlier.
you can dump using either specific disc drives or your Wii. there are some threads in these forums that can help you, look around at the top of the support forum.

DOWNLOADING GAMES IS AGAINST THE RULES

USB Loader GX and other ripper/converter tools have been making bad WBFS files for Super Smash Bros. brawl AFAIK and therefore you will receive "Unhandled Exception" popup when you tried to open properties window for SSBB from Dolphin gamelist.
There is an issue report about it in Google issue tracker and there are two PR's in the work that will let properties window to be opened anyway despite WBFS being broken.
There is another way to tell if your WBFS is corrupted is to play one demo game (i.e. star fox 64) from "Masterpieces" in Brawl's Vault menu. It will go blackscreen if WBFS is corrupted OR scrubbed, or if it's working then WBFS is good AND is not scrubbed.

It is actually possible to scrub a disc image while still having working Masterpieces. I guess some WBFS programs just aren't good enough to do that properly...

Okay, I meant that masterpieces will go wrong when disc image is scrubbed to game partition only (if I am not mistaken that masterpieces are in other partitions). That is what USB Loader GX will do by default, along with broken WBFS.
I should stay away from USB Loader GX when it comes to ripping stuff...
