Okay.

So I have both the latest version and the 4889 release. Neither of them will work in 3D.

The old version doesn't have the option for Direct3D11 and the new version doesn't have an option for 3D vision under enhancements under Direct3D11 only for Direct3D9.

This is driving me insane!!!!!!!

There is absolutely no documentation covering how to get 3D vision working that I could find anywhere so I'm forced to sift through thread posts trying to glean hints here and there. Why would you put out a huge article boasting about the 3D capabilities of your emulator without including instructions on how to use them? There isn't even a page for 3D vision on your wiki.

I can only get red-blue 3D working and I own shutter glasses so clearly that doesn't help.

I think the thing that pisses me off the most is the fact I know how great your emulator is from the screen shots I've seen in 3D and it is incredibly frustrating that I can't access this cool feature that you've spent so much time and effort coding...
your profile says you're using a version that's not really "new". try using the latest dev version

Tried that. The latest dev release has no option for Direct3D11, I ran it under Direct3D with 3D vision enabled in enhancements, it did jack shit. No 3D, just a couple of errors on the sprites used on the exhaust on F-Zero GX.

Ishi's version lets me choose Direct3D11 but once against even with 3D vision enabled under enhancements there is no 3D when you get in game just a couple of messed up sprites on the vehicle exhaust whenever you toggled the 3D on with ctrl-t.

The latest regular release doesn't even have an option for 3D vision so I'm screwed there too.
Direct3D is 11
Just in case I downloaded the latest master build, and it's working fine for me, and the almost latest Ishiiruka build too (I didn't try the latest because the most recent change only affects W8 users).

Do you have 3D Vision enabled in the Nvidia Control Panel? Many people are reporting on the Geforce forums that after rebooting it resets to 3D Vision Discover (anaglyph mode). I always had to unplug and replug the emitter anyway.

I checked that already and it fixed the anaglyph problem but 3D doesn't start properly. It just messes up the 2D sprites in the scene and leaves the 3D alone. I tried changing convergence settings as well as depth, it didn't do anything. I've tried 4 versions of this program and I dunno what is wrong. 3D works fine for movies and games.
What game are you trying to play?

Edit: I saw in another thread that you're talking about F-Zero GX. I can't play the game until the afternoon, but I remember that the character selection screen was weird in 3D, I think. But once in the race, everything was fine.

I tried Melee, the 3D worked once at the memory card loading screen you see when the game loads. Then it crashed. All I can get is this when I run 3D vision... =/

As you can see... There is no 3D with it enabled, merely graphical errors on the sprites as far as I can tell.
Wow, that's bad. It doesn't happen to me. Look, when I get home (in about 7 hours) I'll upload my Dolphin profile from my Nvidia drivers. I changed 2 settings there that may help you.
