Hello I really need Help, I have the latest version of Dolphin 5.0. I also purchased the Mayflash 4 slot on amazon. I also purchased the Nintendo Gamecube controller. I have tried every which way to get it to work. Please some one help. I plugged it into the computer. I have tried changed the settings from PC to WI U, I also tried this code Code:
sudo cp -r ~/Downloads/SmashEnabler.kext /Library/Extensions/SmashEnabler.kext
sudo chown -R root:wheel /Library/Extensions/SmashEnabler.kext
sudo touch /Library/Extensions
sudo reboot
Nothing is working

Please help
Hey everyone!
I have a mayflash 4 port adapter. I've followed the steps using the Smash.kext. Dolphin recognized the controller and everything... But I can't have more than one controller in at a time. Anyone else have this problem? I've been trying to get my 4 controllers to work at the same time for DAYS now.
Sierra
Dolphin 5.0
Mayflash 4 Port Adapter
Cheers!
I have an update to the kext.
Apple deprecated `IOUSBInterface` in favor of `IOUSBHostInterface` with El Capitan. High Sierra finally pulled the plug on this class, so the kext needed to be updated to reflect this.
Here's the new package:

And the standalone kext:

Please note that SIP needs to be disabled for the actual install process. In my experience, the effect of the .kext is rolled into the system preboot cache, and remains even after re-enabling SIP. This effect lasts until the next OS update or a rebuild of the preboot. For those leery of keeping SIP disabled, this is a good workaround requiring only a temporary disable after each update of macOS.
If this kext is just preventing Apple from taking control of the adapter, could we use the exact same system to enable Bluetooth passthrough?

I suppose it could be. It'd just be a matter of modifying the idProduct and idVendor values to match the Bluetooth adapter in question. I can't really think of a way to match all possible Bluetooth adapters with a universal kext.
Just have the user find their idProduct and idVendor values, update the kext, and then install it
I am using OSX 10.12 and I am having no luck in getting the DolphinBar or Bluetooth Passthrough to work with my Wiimotes (RVL-003).
I have installed the ktext with the idProduct and idVendor (edited the plist) for my Mayflash and then built in adapters with no luck.
I can get the wiimotes to pair with the DolphinBar but Dolphin 5.0 does not see it (I tried the stable and newest release). If I try passthrough adapter with the dolphinbar plugged in, dolphin hangs and needs a force-quit. If I emulate the bluetooth and pick 'real wiimote' I still can't connect.
When I try passthrough without the dolphinbar the wiimote will rumble when I first bring up the controller config window but I can get it to connect (sync + referesh button) after pick emulate bluetooth and real wiimote.
I have also tried white listing the adapter in question for each test and with and without the ktext (with updated ids).
4 hours into this and I am loosing hope... any ideas I can try?
*EDIT more searching reveals a ~/Library/Application Support/Dolphin/Config/Dolphin.ini file where you can force a given VID and PID for the pass through. After doing this I can launch a Wii game (stays black) and at least bring up the controller dialog and try to sync (still no luck though).
Hi. I'm on osx 10.13 and I'm using the nintendo official adapter but I cant get it to pick up on dolphin. I've tried disabling SIP and reinstalling the smash enabler but nothing. What do I do?
Hello, I'm running the new macOS 10.14 Mojave and I'm having no luck getting dolphin to detect the Wii U adapter.
I've got melee running in the latest Dolphin 5.9F and I've tried all the smash enabler installs and even the sudo commands in terminal to no avail.
I'm not sure if its the new OS or if I'm missing something.
Thanks for any help!
