Is this true or not?
It is, but he may or may not do it, he isn't fond of the dolphin team.
apparently, we are too "noob" for him.
now i'm using over 3ghz processor but still can't get full speed (still low than 60~40fps in any event)
guys it's not only the speed of processor, the architecture matters a lot! for example i play One Piece Unlimited Cruise at 17 - 27 fps (u see my info in my sig) and i have played the same game at 29 - 45 fps with a Q9550 (quad-core @ 2.83 Ghz not overclocked)! the 2nd processor is 0.77 Ghz less but it gets ~15 fps more!
Ok, first off great work on the Emulator guys, i can only imagine what a complicated business it is getting something like this to work.....
I was wondering what sort of performance i should expect with my system....
AMD Phemon XII 550 Black Edition @3.8Ghz
4Gb DDR2 1066mhz
Radeon 4850
Windows Vista Ultimate 64bit
Ingame:
Mario Kart 30-45fps
Ikaruga 30-50fps
Running at 3.8ghz on the Phenom II, is about the same speed as a Core2 Duo @3.6ghz.
Maybe i was being over optimistic , but having upgraded to this dual core monster from a 2Ghz single core laptop with intergrated graphics, i was expecting a bit more..
Are these frame rates what i should be getting?........
if u r running these gmz on a laptop then with the speed u get its great! if not then probably ur processor achitecture is old! and as i said on top of ur post not only the speed of the 2 cores matters, its a matter of the type of the core too!
EDIT: sorry i googled ur processor and i found out that ur processor is the right one for o.c. and its capabilities get higher with windows 7! and definetely its architecture is not old! i dk whats the problem maybe u changed ur OS to windows 7 x64?? or maybe ur config, PAL NTSC differences!

No im NOT running this on a laptop now, but on my new desktop with the brand new, just released 550 CPU from AMD, which has got rave reviews all over the internet.....
So would you expect me to be getting higher frame rates with my CPU?
of course! on mario kart u should have full speed 60 fps, but i dk whats happening! change some of ur config make some tests try out different conbinations!
Will be enough with this?
My specs:
-Intel® Core™2 Duo E8600 @3.3ghz
-3 GB RAM DDR2 800mhz
-500GB SATA 2
-GeForce 9800GT 1gb Overclocked edition
-Windows Vista X86 Utimate SP2
Thanks!
