I think working on a direct3D DX10 plugin is one option to speed things up, because opengl is pretty much outdated these days.
I'm going to go bananaz on the next person that adds up clock speed. Aparently, mudlord is working on a dx10 plugin.

What? What are you smoking? Do you even know what OpenGL is?
OpenGL is NOT outdated at all. Don't think it is just because most PC games use DirectX.
OpenGL is alot used. For example all the DS emus I know use OpenGL for 3D rendering.
Apart from that, I just wanted to say that Dolphin uses much less memory than it wants.
For example sometimes I have 1 gb or less of free memory and it tells me "couldn't grab 1gb
of continuous memory". When it launches without that error (most of the time it does), I look
at the task manager, and it uses MUCH LESS memory than it needs (usually it uses even less
than 500mb). Weird.

Is this true or not?

I thought you were a dev? Then you shouldn't really be suprised by that...
I'm new and confused here. my processor running at 2.5Ghz.right now i'm playing mario party series.my problem is the speed I get is about 15~60fps. but the real problem is the message box has been scrambled while the other are fine. trying both the directx9 and open gl but still the same.
Yeah, so even with the new version and all, it's still not finding the WiiMote plugin. It really doesn't need to, since the ones I'm trying to play don't exactly need it.

What is your rig by the way?
