I tried Sonic Colors @60fps without vsync, but the speed of gameplay is affected: it runs faster - not just with more frames per second for more fluid gameplay (like Mario Sunshine 60fps code).

I always use vsync in Dolphin (tearing is super annoying in 3D) and the game worked fine. I only tried one or two levels of Sonic Colors for now, but I think the speed was normal for me.
Works partially for me, audio stutters and no graphics downgrade remove it until I check Skip EFB access from CPU which improves it and lower CPU overclock down to 66%, with this I get smooth 60fps 95% of the time. Using last dev build, PAL version.
I really would like that for stable release now approaching we would have the OC setting working through the config files (currently broken) as well as a hotkey for FPS OSD toggle.
Hey, for anyone who has tried the code. Are you all able to complete the game? I have the patch enabled an the game hangs on the second boss. It won't load the boss. Could it be a bad dump?

Also, does anyone experience slowdown when the CPU override is enabled? I've tried doing 150% and 200% and they both cause the game to run slower.
Raising the emulated CPU clock makes the game more difficult to emulate, so you need more CPU overhead. Your CPU is fairly old, so it probably isn't fast enough to play the game at 60 FPS.
For me, the hack doesn't work. Its make the game slower and i m still at 20- 30 fps( i used cpu clock at 200%)
You have a first-generation i7, which is too slow to use the 60 FPS code. Running at 60 FPS makes the game more demanding, and your CPU can't handle it, which is why you get serious slowdown.

Code:
008F2D97 00000001
0090DB0B 00000001

You'll need to ramp up the emulated CPU clock a good bit so that you won't go below 60 in-game. You'll also need to check "Store EFB Copies To Texture Only."
This code works for all versions of the game.

HRNGH! THANK YOU! He goes so fast sometimes I can't see wtf is going on at 30fps.
Thank you very much for this code, I just discovered this game and its working perfectly. Works without OC.
My question is, what exactly does the code do to allow 60fps? Seems to just change two values to 1, so does colors have a secret setting for 60fps? Weird.
