I have seen this before and it has been reported in 2010 but I never noticed it before. I'm using my own adapter and at the moment have nothing else to try. If rumble is enabled in game and the controller shakes I drop down to 5/10 frames a second. I can disable rumble in game or in dolphin to fix. I'm currently using 4.0 5410. The controller does not exhibit this on other emulators, why dolphin I don't know. I'll try to sniff the packets in a bit but I doubt that will show anything aiding a clue.

update: Looks good from usb end, sending the right rumble commands and durations.
update: Just grabbed 6000 still present.
update: Sine and square seem to not be effected its just the constant force. Good work around but int he best interest of development I'm happy to look deeper. Constant force is preferred and has always gave the best results.
Could you make an issue report? This sounds pretty problematic.

I will, just wanted to make sure it was not reported.

I wish I could reproduce this issue. I hope someone else steps in with some kind of information or thing that I'm missing.
Yes, it would be great if anyone can test this just so that I know if its based on the adapter(s). Please just try constant force and see if it slows down dolphin and report what adapter/controller you use. I'm guessing xinput is fine.

Tried to do use the logs, check PAD unchecked all else but see no outputs.
