You have probably never lived in the bible belt states for any extended period of time.  Let me tell you that just doesn't work.  Telling them they're crazy will only make them crazier, and will make them redirect all of their negativity onto you.  You now become a threat to their way of life, a threat that must be removed.  Telling a professional that they're crazy will do nothing because they'll shrug it off as just being religious beliefs that they're entitled too.  When enough of your society believes in crazy shit people who believe it will no longer be considered crazy, and that's where we're at right now.

You cannot change them.  You cannot reason with them.  You have to get away from them.  It's the only way that you will survive this life long term.

@Werewolfy
Werewolfy I don't care what you have to do to get it done but you must get away from her.  For the rest of your life.  Disown her and leave.  It doesn't matter where you go or what you do but you will never be safe until she's gone from your life.  As hard as that is to accept I strongly believe it is the only real choice for you.
Jesus... I don't even know what to do

I don't even know where to start

I guess I need advice at this point
Get a job. You need money before you can do anything.
Sorry to hear man. Is there anything that could of happened recently that caused your mom to have a breakdown? Sounds like my extended family and you want to know whats weird is that my Aunt lives in Georgia, used to live in Texas and has ties to Texas - she happens to be a religious nut. Doesn't practice what she preaches though, my aunt and my mom had a falling out. It would be cool to be related to someone on a forum and not even know it. Hey it can happen, I made a new friend online last year that lived in the same park as me. Wink

I can empathize with you though. I know that if something isn't done it could become even worse to the point that intervention is needed. My mom was severely depressed last year, we didn't know it got so bad. She had racing thoughts or heard "voices' and she was considering committing suicide. She finally did what she needed to do and had my father to take her to check her in to the BHU and she was there for over a week. She is doing a bit better now and taking medications although she still seems depressed. I visit with my mother daily, check on her and keep her company. My parents are getting up there in years and I try to help them with whatever I can. I live behind them so I can be here to help them out.

I know you are going through a stressful time. However be there for your mom, she may need you. Be prepared for intervention and taking action if things don't improve so you can get your mom the help she needs so she can get better.

This is too true.

Hate to hear that. Your college likely has a lot of job opportunities popping up since it's close to graduation. Also, if you've been in school 3 years how are you just now at your associates?
Dang, I'm sorry, that's rough. She needs help, but i doubt you will be able to convince her to get it. It's a bad situation since there's not really anything you can do..
why me why couldn't I just shut the fuck up for once in my life

Rest In Peace RachelB.

God, what's the point of all of this?

Seriously.

Why do we bother with this whole life thing?

Either we end it on our own terms or we are forced to end it by nature's terms.

Fuck this shit.

You can hate a person until the day you die.

You can only tell a person that you're sorry and that you actually do love them until the day that person dies.

After that, its pointless and they'll spend their last minutes thinking you hated them.

How does it feel
Don't
