So i'm running the latest dev build of dolphin with system menu v513 (4.3U) wad installed, downloaded with NUSD v1.9. I then installed the Super Mario 64 wad and tried to launch it within the system menu but it just returns to the system menu after. What am i doing wrong, any ideas? This happens with all channels iv'e tried. Also this isn't an issue with system menu v9.7 (2.0U)

You sure seems to be working here? Official dolphin YouTube channel.
Never mind i got it working with 4.3u, had to install all the IOS files (except for the stubs) from NUSD and install them to dolphin. Boy was that tedious! Fully functional now so i don't know what you were talking about NKF98?
Yeah, Wii channels have been working for quite a while now. The only type of software that still can't be launched from the System Menu is GC discs.

I have the system menu working now but have one problem. Every time i launch a game like Super Mario Galaxy from the system menu the wiimote doesn't work properly, all functions are there except for picking up and shooting star bits. Attempting to pick them up doesn't do anything and shooting them seems like they are curving towards the screen. this doesn't happen if i launch the game from the dolphin ui. I'm using dolphin bar with the latest firmware update.

I think it may have to do with the gameini files. Maybe it loads the ini files for the system menu but launching games from the system menu the ini files for that particular game are not loaded, meaning its still using the Wii system menu ini files. Correct me if i'm wrong please, just a guess.
Yes, the game INIs work like that. The System Menu doesn't have an INI, and launching a game from it doesn't load a new INI, so no special settings are applied. The INIs for SMG and SMG2 have EFB access from CPU forced on, so try enabling that manually in Dolphin's settings.

My man. I knew it, just didn't know which vital setting was being affected. Do you guys think you will ever find a way around this or will emulation accuracy just have to continue to improve?
Changing the active INI when a different title is launched sounds feasible, but I don't know when something like this will be added.

Would be real cool if this happened.
