hi

i decided to buy a new pc , and i would like to run dolphin correctly , i mean not especially at high resolution but at full speed or nearly.

so i would like to be able to run correctly this games :

baten kaitos eternal wings and the lost ocean
the legend of zelda twilight princess
xenoblade chronicles
and the last , metroid prime .

i am not able to buy a very expensive pc , so my choice could be one with this hardware :

for the cpu : Intel Core i5 4590 : 3.3ghz to 3.7ghz with the turbo boost , not overclocking .

for the gpu : NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760 (Gigabyte GeForce GTX 760 WindForce2 OC)

for the memory 2x4gb

is it realistic to do it with this kind of hardware ? , because dolphin is always doing better and better , so a top computer i think is
not necessary .

what do you think ???

thx .
What's your budget you're working with?

well , i found this computer :

http://www.materiel.net/minisites/pc-assemble/acheter.php?modele=falcon&produit=104061&version=0

the page is in french but you can see the hardware .

it cost near 820 euros .
Build it yourself, save money. Here's what I would recommend: http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/4CgnrH
(since you mentioned Euros and linked a french website, I'm going to guess you're somewhere in Europe?)

harkanoid

first i thought to build it by myself , for saving money and for learning .

yes it's another option .

anyway what do you think about the hardware i mentioned for running dolphin and playing the games above .

ah yes i still live in europe , in brittany near uk Smile .
Building a computer yourself is the best option. The build I linked is cheaper and has faster components.
Would go with the GTX 960 over the GTX 760 if possible; if just for dolphin, could probably get away with a 750 Ti
For Dolphin? If you're really on a tight budget, the GTX 460 would do fine for most games.
400/500 series Fermi run really hot you know

ok , i know the problem is not the graphic card , i will probably choose the gtx960 ; the difficult part can be to choose the good

processor , in my case i want the i5-4590 , but i want to be sure i can play all this games correctly at 3.7 ghz with turbo boost if

needed.

baten kaitos eternal wings and the lost ocean
the legend of zelda twilight princess
xenoblade chronicles
and the last , metroid prime .

i read a lot of posts , it seems possible for all , but for metroid prime it could be more difficult . anyway dolphin is always doing better

and better ; so choosing a good computer is one thing , but the evolution of the emulator is also very important .

so thx for the people who are working on it .
