Or what future is there for the android port. The s7 has 4 gb ram. But it's single clock speed is low but if the emulator could support octa core......

It works well, we're just waiting for powerful devices.

> The s7 has 4 gb ram.
Doesn't matter.

> But it's single clock speed is low
so very bad for us.

> but if the emulator could support octa core......
Because this is not possible. We're mostly emulating one device, the single core CPU of the Wii. There is no way how to improve this with many cores. One fast core, everything else is bad for an emulator.
Lol. All I can do is pray for an iOS release for now. Good luck and please don't give up on it
Just one more question. Don't think this may be the right thread but here goes. Can I run need for speed carbon GameCube (or a game of same graphics) on dolphin emulator on Galaxy s7 at around 20 fps. If not is there any other mobile (not tablet) which can achieve this? Thanks
Off topic, belongs in the Android forum.

As of right now, there is no Android phone or tablet that can Dolphin reasonably well. The closest you can get is the nvidia shield tv, and that only works okay for lightweight games like Melee or New Super Mario Bros Wii.
Thanks
I've been working on this more recently. I was able patch up MemArena enough to get around the virtual memory limits for now. I'm having a little trouble with the OpenGL renderer right now but I'm confident I can get it working.

I think getting Dolphin on iOS is definitely possible

Edit: I switched to the software renderer and dolphin is successfully running on iOS. Very very slowly but it's a good start
PRs are welcome Big Grin

VideoSW also uses OpenGL, so switching to the OpenGL backend should be straigt forward, but not so important in the first step.
Which CPU backend do you use? JitArm64, or interpreter?

JitArm64. We found a way to bypass codesigning and allow Jit while working on iNDS.
Well then how can we download the emu on iOS. Like I said before I am itching. I prayed to Allah and alhamdulillah my prayer was listened
