Pretty cool!
D day !
Anybody has been able to try it yet ?
Yes. Cortex-A57 CPU is about on the same level as the Nvidia Denver, but Dolphin is still bottlenecked by the video drivers. Not nearly as badly as before, but no where near Tegra performance levels.
I've tested this morning Dolphin on GS6.
I used JIT AM Recompiler coupled with OpenGL ES.
All games (Luigi mansion, Mariokart, Viewtifull Joe 2) run over 40 fps until… the game really launches. Dolphin crashes after the selection of the circuit on MarioKart for example.
Update !
I've tested the last build available and
- MarioKart runs a solid 30 fps, but only in Time trials (vs 20 fps in grand prix).
Here is the video before i setup Overclock at 0.25
https://youtu.be/iJh3-N3NIec
and after
https://youtu.be/nVUKcgAQaHI

- Viewtifull Joe 2 runs over 40 FPS and falls at 34 when multiple ennemies show up. It's very playable Smile
- DBZ Budokai 2 runs at 25 fps
- SMB crashes when the fight begins

I'll test some more games and let you know Smile
