Hey guys,

I'm deciding to buy a new phone and a big influence is dolphin running on it (I know it is not fully playable yet) I'm trying to future proof over the next 2 years.

Does anyone know if the galaxy s6 is going to be compatible because it has the exynos 7420 and the GPU is a Mali-T760?

Thanks

It will absolutely be compatible.  As far as phones go,  that is one of the best options currently available.
I plan on getting an SGS6 on launch, and a S810 device shortly after to do direct comparisons.
Thanks for the reply guys.

Hey sonic. The s810 seems impressive. You obviously know better so I will wait for you to come up with which is better.

Do you have a donation link? (I already purchased the gold version but want to donate more)

Thanks

I'd be willing to bet that the S6 would win on the sole basis of not throttling,  which the S810 definitely has an issue (regardless of what butthurt OEMs will say).
I can't wait for feedback on the GS6 performances !
Apparently the GS6 will not support OpenGL 4.5 Sad
Not sure why you would expect it to.
i thought that perfs of devices using OpenGl 4.5 were > ones supporting openGL 3
