Im not ranting or any crap like that i was just wondering if the dolphin staff could explain why it cant run games inside games for example.....zelda master quest you start it up and you get to pick if you wanna play the original ocarina of time or pick master quest with more puzzles etc. Those types of games where you need to start it up to pick a game here's my list of questions:

A) How come dolphin cant run them?
B) Is it possible to fix and/or add-on to the emulator?
and
C) Is there any other emulator that can run commercial games like that?

Sorry for sounding angry i just really want the dolphin staff to explain why Smile

cmccmc

1. it's not implemented
2. it's possible to fix it but it's not a priority to fix. there are bigger problems
3. no
This us what I read was the error of Metroid Prime triology, probably the same as Zelda Master Quest: Each game uses an own bootable file, which causes the wii to soft-reset, which Dolphin doesn't support.

cmccmc

im not sure about the soft reset but the rest is correct
damn it's cmccm again....lol i was the one who asked the same question to you
Unknownforce actually got trilogy "working", by replacing the main dol with one of the selectable games' dol. So you could try that with Master Quest. (You can extract files with Dolphin, but you need wiiscrubber to insert them)

i already tried extracting and there was ONE .dol file i used gc-tool to extract and when i run the .dol i get hte same problem as if i just ran the game normally what difference can wiiscrubber make

cmccmc

yes from someone else lol

Lol, Someone Must not like cmccmc Tongue

Is this a better answer ? lol

A) This game Seems to be broken on Dolphin, they Never got around to Fix the Booting Dol Problem Or W.e Seems to be the problem With this game.
But it Whould Be Nice to Play Some OOT On Dolphin With Some Shaders And AA. **Hint Hint

B) Currently Theres No Fixes Or Been Any Work Done to the game, So you Will Just have to wait tell one of the Devs for Dolphin Fixes it. ( You Chould Always Give the a Pm Or Message and See if they Can get Around to fixing one of theses days)

C) Dolphin Is Currently the Only Gamecube/Wii Emulator that Works, All the Other Projects For Gamecube Emulation Have been abonded or Just Died
