Anyway the guys how need really good Sound Card its guys how made Music Or Music Studios ... This Cards Have to much Cost like 200Euro and play Record with Analog Sound and hear analog if you want...So you can find a cheap card for Record like Line6 Sound cards if you want to Record some Organ like bass or guitar with analog and plug instant with good sound..

I dont give a damn what you like or dont !
As long as I know we can talk about pretty much everything related to ati or nvidia, we were talking about ati graphic card wich is the topic and about its sound capabilities

It is a good thing to share knowledge , anytime
OK, I have an ATi radeon HD3470 in my laptop which i use to run dolphin. For the majority of games the it works fine, i don't get any errors and a nice speed however in zelda twilight princess i get severe graphical errors with this card, for example when i get in game there is barely any scenery, only small parts of link show like his hands and eyes and shadows of people are there. I believe this is caused by the ati cards bad compatibility with open gl as with the direct x plugin all the graphics are fine in game (although glitchy in movie clips), the dx plugin also runs much slower.
hope this sheds some light on the situation.

Actually, the sound card's DAC is what make a difference when it comes to how the digital signal will sound when it comes out of your speakers. With a good DAC, your sound will be quite nice... as long as you have good speakers to back it up.

And ACE, do you use Anti-Aliasing?

(Share knowledge about Graphic Cards...don't share wrong knowledge about Sound and hearing Music..So if you want share a wrong knowledge about sounds this is not a problem : ) share the jokes)
I've never owned an ATI card always a NVIDIA for the pure simple reason of I've never ever had a problem running any programs with any of the cards i have owned (obviously the card met the specs for the software), I have only ever had one card fail on me....that's probably cause my nephew decided to spill Lucozade over it lol.

Cards Owned:

NVIDIA Geforce 4600 (lasted 3 years then sold on ebay lol)
XpertVision NVIDIA Geforce FX5500 256mb/DDR (the one which met an early fate lol)
Inno3D NVIDIA Geforce 8500GT 512mb/DDR2
Inno3D NVIDIA Geforce 9500GT 1024mb/DDR2
I always bounce back and forth, myself...
From oldest to newest:
ATi Radeon 64MB (before X000 series cards)
NVIDIA GeForce4 Ti 4400
ATi Radeon 9800
NVIDIA GeForce 6800 GT
NVIDIA 8800 GTS
ATi Radeon 4870 (Current)

Always been very happy with both brands. Which one I get just depends on which is the best power/deal at the time.

I've only ever owned Nvidia cards but one thing Nvidia does the confuses the heck out of me and makes me mad (especially in the past) is their retarded naming conventions (GT, GS, GTS, Ultra, XT, GTX). Though they are turning that around with just calling everything gtx # we'll see how long that lasts. Ati has it right with this generation just give me a number to compare. At the moment you really can't lose in the gfx market right now because the competition is too fierce it runs on like a 6 month cycle and between cycles their either cutting costs or putting out slight modifications to existing ones to stay competitive in a certain price range.

Mine is HIS Radeon 4870 Turbo with 1GB GDDR5 RAM clocked on 4GHz, gpu is on 780MHz, great card, no problems with dolphin or any other games, Fallout 3 goes on every single possible detail turn on max. I'm thinking about second for Crossfire to secure my future if there will be more demanding games soon. I had two nvidia cards in the past, I still got one, and I can say for sure it's got huge lack of power if compared to ATI for same price so for now I won't recommend to anyone nvidia graphic, maybe for someone I don't like but for the rest I will not.
