Dolphin, the GameCube and Wii emulator - Forums

hello, After much head ache I decided to come here and try and see if someone could help me. I have dolphin working on one machine at my home. I decided to put dolphin on my room mates computer and I just cant get it to work. we both have the exact same windows version and near indentical specs ( i have an i7 and he has an i5 though. I've tried everything i could think of to get it working. anyway, we keep getting:

invalid read from to 0xeddf345e, PC = 0x803d9d38

and

invalid read from to 0x37bc9144, PC = 0x803d9b74

and

invalid read 0x01800014, PC = 0x803d9b74

any help would be appriciated.

right, forgot to mention this happens right when i try to start a game. it freezes and i get these codes popping up. the last game i tried was xenoblade chronicles.

It sounds like an invalid disc.

yeah, i thought that too, but the same disc works on another machine. I had ruled that out, but ill try looking into that..
