Hello, you must be sick of these threads but i am not a tech savvy person and i just want to know if I'm doing something wrong, or missing something with trying to emulate SSB Melee. It runs extremely slow, floating somewhere around 60-80% speed.

Operating System: Windows 7 x64
Processor/CPU: AMD Phenom X3 8650
Video Card/GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 650
Memory/RAM: DDR2 4GB
Dolphin Revision Currently Using: 4.0-5647 x64

The settings I'm using are from the Dolphin wiki.

Thank you.
Your CPU is probably the culprit. The Phenom X3 has pretty bad single threaded performance relative to today's standards. Upgrade that and it should improve. Melee isn't a very intense game and it's properly optimized using the newest revision.

That's gonna have to wait a couple of months Sad
Thank you.

Edit: In my laptop I have a Intel® Core™ i5-2450M, will that do the trick?
I'd think even a Phenom would be fast enough; Melee can run 4x speed or more on newer CPUs. What are your settings?

Settings are:

Dual core speed up enabled
Idle skipping enabled
framelimit at 60
JIT Recompiler enabled

DSP HLE emulation
Audio Bakcend: XAudio2

Grpahics Backend: Direct3D9(deprecated)
Adapter:NVIDIA GeForce GTX650
Resolution: Auto
Ratio:Auto
Internal Resolution: 640x528
AA:none
AF:1x
Scaled EFB Copy enabled

Skip EFB Acces form CPU enabled
Ignore format changes enabled
External frame buffer disabled
Fast Depth calculation enabled
If you've got D3D9 as an option, you're using an old, slow build. Upgrade to the latest dev from here https://dolphin-emu.org/download/ for free extra speed.

It's mostly at 100% now, thank you.
