Full Version: Wiimote Speaker Possibilities

From what I can tell, trying to use the Wiimote's speaker directly through bluetooth won't work with Dolphin for a number of reasons, not the least of which being that the PC can't stream the data out nearly as fast as a real Wii can for some odd reason. So I was wondering, would it be possible to emulate the speaker instead, and have that sound come through the normal PC speakers? It would be a little higher quality, and considering the simplicity of the sound interface with the wiimote it might just be a way to get games to produce sound that aren't otherwise doing so. ^_^

That, and I'm pretty sure that several games actually make use of the Wiimote speaker for more than just novelty effects, things like listening to the speaker to avoid obstacles in Raving Rabbids come to mind.

You know.

Not that it's top priority or anything.

But it would be neat.
