It would have been better to create a new thread that to necropost in one from february, but it would have been better still to use the search function and realise that people bring this up about once a day, and the response is always that Dolphin doesn't create that many draw calls, so until the official SDKs are released to the public and the devs can see what exactly ends up in their toolbox, there's no way of saying anything more than that these developments probably won't help much.

I did it. And I didn't find any post with technical documentation about these APIs, but I found some devs waiting for it, so I thought it would be a good idea to provide it.

The intention of the post was not another "Please implement DX12/Vulkan!" but more like "There is some pretty good technical documentation about Mantle/Vulkan(and a little about DX12), someone may want to read it".

Sorry for bothering, it was not intended.

And OpenGL already made Direct3D 12 obsolete. Go figure.

Eh? Was that ironic or could you ELI5?
The OpenGL-Next/Vulkan API (which absorbed Mantle) has all the features DX12 has, and more, and also runs on more things.

It's probably a bad idea to dig up an old thread like this, though.

Ok, I was confused by the "OpenGL" name, but I know Vulkan. Although I fear for its adoption when D3D12 is already in the pipes and Vulkan full spec has yet to be released.
