I have downloaded Dolphin 4.0.2 and am trying to play Fire Emblem Path of Radiance for GC. For some reason, when I go to config GC controls to play on my keyboard, the droplist is empty, so I cannot select my keyboard and set controls. Im playing on a Dell Inspiron 15 if that matters. Thanks in advance, and be warned im a emulator newbie

You mean the developer versions? I had originally wanted to avoid those, as I had heard that they were unstable at times.
I downloaded the newest version, and i still have the same problem. Here is a screenshot of what is happening.

Looks like 8.1 to me (or some start menu thing)
I should probably have made it clear that ive never played Dolphin before. 4.0.2 was my first download, and it didnt work, which brings me to where i am
Then try the latest versions and see what happens
