Because I only want to move the savestate folder, maybe?
In that case, symlinks are the only solution at this time...
Yes, I guess it leads to it, although I never considered that as an option.
For some reason the other day, Dolphin started to do strange things... NAND was damaged, or controller wasn't responding. I have everything set correctly. After whining about it in the HotD2&3 thread, I think I came to find what causes it.
I was using an unconventional NANDRootPath = ..\..\..\SAVES\Nintendo Wii\NANDRoot
I don't play too frequently, so it's possible that I was getting errors when trying to load NAND data. I think there might be some internal code that still looks for the default ./User/Wii folder regardless of the above setting.
This renders Wii battery save paths uncustomizable, which is a bit pity.
To sum it up, currently the only customizable working save path seems to be GC battery saves, Wii's and both systems savestate paths are still hard coded.
Are you talking about Dolphin, or Windows? if the latter it's been already discussed.
Edit: after checking your edit for the link, yes, Windows. It's been discussed, I only want to customize the save path. Also that wouldn't work, I have multiple Dolphin folders all portable.
