I looked through some old threads, because I remembered that this came up before.
Check in Dolphin on the right hand side of the game list. Is the region the same for both path of Radiance and Radiant Dawn (both NTSC/both PAL/both NTSC-J)? Because if they aren't then it won't work.

okmaybe thats it i have ntsc por. i am using pal rd because its suppose to work better. ill get the ntsc version and see if it works many thanks
