Hi, I was having a problem in twilight princess where right before the lakebed temple boss when i jump in the hole, the game would freeze no matter how many times i changed settings. I was told by a member to get a newer version which i did (went from 3.0 to 4.0 - 5163). I want to know how I cant transfer the save data to the new dolphin so i dont have to restart the whole game. Also just the menu is not running smoothly at all. It keeps breaking up and going slow. Please help.
Copy the contents of the "User" folder from your old 3.0 folder to C:\Users\<user>\Documents\Dolphin Emulator
okay thx i did that but now when i try to load it, the window freezes
before i got your comments i messed with the memory card settings a bit. How do i put them to default? Or wat is the path for the default memory card?

Delete the cache folder.
And what do you mean by messed with te memory cards?
sorry. Before you guys told me that i wasnt sure how long i would get a response so i tried moving the memorycard.raw file from the old folder to the new. Went to config memory card and set it to that, and it didnt work so i re downloaded the new folder and did wat u said and moved the whole user folder from old to the new one. But it freezes when i try to load. I'm not sure if the memory card is set up right bcuz i cant find the .raw file anymore. >_<
That sounds really confusing. Look around and see if you can't find it. Also try removing the Config folder and see what happens.
ok i tried removing both config and cache folders and it still freezes when i try to load save state. What should the memory card manager path be?
