If it can helps...
Are you talking about how at 9 seconds in it stops for a second? Have you tried moving the Dolphin Folder in Documents to like the Desktop so that Dolphin can rebuild it's files (then copy the memory card files back over)?

PJ64 is wayyyyyyyyyyyy less demanding than Dolphin.

Hi,

Yes I've tried to start a revision for the desktop but always the problem...
I spoke about PJ64 because I believed it could be a problem of Direct X.....
I think that with a 4790k and GTX 980, I'm pretty cool with this config and games are running fine except this problem of stop and go.... Sad
If you go back to the same spot and there is no micro freeze in the game, that means it is just the shader cache being generated.

If it does still repeat every time, then you have an issue.

Play that spot again and see if it does the same stop or not?

OK,

I'll try this. What do you mean by playing the same spot? When I restart from the last save state and restart from there, I have always the same problem....
Seems that I encounter the same with PCSX2 and Demul...
Last thing to do I think is to format the HDD, install the min drivers to see if something interfers with the cpu or gpu....
Hi all,

I've made a very interesting test playing on Romstation (Games are not downloadables on the site!)
If I play my Dolphin's version with Baldur's gate, no metter the region, I get the problem
If I play their emulator opening my game (Baldur's gate French), I get the problem
If I play their emulator with their game, no problem at all for about 5 minutes (problemoccurs rapidly after 1 min)

So it's not a problem of CPU usage or anything else, I already tried to download same verison with my game same settings without success.

The only test that I cannot do is open their game with my version...

Hope it can help...
Hi Everybody,

Seems that I've found the solution thanks to Romstation! No problem playing via the program so
I tried to copy their settings with the same revision but problem occurs again. So I thought it was not a problem with the emulator but with my games! Nearly....it seems that it's the location on my HDD who causes problems...When I copy my games on the SSD folder of Romstation, I got no moreproblem with pcsx2 nor Dolphin...I will test further and keep you updated. Just one more problem now.... A SSD of 2to is very expensive :-) how is it possible that I get problem loading the games on my HDD?

Thanks and regards,

Hi,

Try to copy paste the game which causes issue on the source of the SSD.
If It's C:\Dolphin\Games f.i., copy your gameo n C: and run it.
If you don't encounter the issue anymore, you will have to place your games on another SSD or HDD. I did it and it works great now!
