I think Mac users are going to have to wait for the Devs to have a way to fully support it in Macs before we will be able to use it.
I'm the same 'area' that's working on the adapter for OSX. As it stands, yeah, kexts are awkward to distribute on OSX - ideally, I'd distribute a signed kext, but you have to subscribe to the ADC for that, and the state of the driver is a long way from making that worthwhile. I'm hoping to get the documentation more user-friendly soon, though, so you're able to build it yourself.
In the meantime, to get the driver to that point, as you have a Mayflash adapter, I'd be very interested to see its HID descriptor when in PC mode. With my driver, only port 1 works. I think this is because of my HID descriptor, so I want to see what Mayflash have. This is easiest to do from OSX, which it sounds like you have? If you're willing to help, download USB Prober following these instructions:
http://superuser.com/a/814339
Open up USB Prober, and then plug in the adapter in PC mode. Then click 'save output' and upload the text file here or elsewhere. I don't think there should be anything incriminating in it, other than us maybe being able to work out what sort of Mac you're running! If you're concerned, then figure out which device is the adapter (it's the one that appears in USB Prober when you plug the adapter in), and delete everything else.

I'll get this done for you around 7 or 8 P.M. EST

Hey Area, I'm having some trouble finding the program I'm supposed to download, could you direct me to the right download link?

What's the issue you're having with the instructions at Superuser? If you're on OSX 10.10, just download the most recent IOUSBFamily Release. Because those instructions extract USB Prober from the PKG file, there isn't an issue for mismatched versions, which there would be if you installed the PKG (which also installs a kernel extension, which must match).

I figured it out, which tab on the USB prober should I save the output from? The USB Logger just gives me an empty .txt

Ah, sorry, I should have said. It's the 'Bus Probe' tab that I'm interested in.
You didn't bother to actually read the thread, did you?

I did, but I see nothing wrong with recommending an alternative GameCube adapter or any other adapter for that matter?
Is it against the rules? And I didn't post anything out of the ordinary that violated the thread either.
My post didn't contribute to the thread per se but it was about a GameCube adapter.
