Full Version: Will dolphin ever be optimized fornvidia's K1 for semidecent gameplay?

some games you can find the issue of the cause by looking at old dolphin pc issues. example soul calibur 2 issue can be solved by implement accurate vbeam in dolphin android or whatever other stuff they coded in thats similar.


tried looking up your issue you had, if it happened before in pc. sadly its something that only happened in android version.

Wait what version of android do u guys have on ur shield tablets? are they rooted?
latest version of android for shield tablet. not rooted.
HOLY COW ITS ACTUALLY WORKING I just randomly decided to reinstall and I just cleared my first stage in Melee! I don't know why this is working now but whatever ..hmm i wonder if brawl will eventually be playable too! Anyways Im so happy for now but THANK YOU ALL so much for bearing with me!!!!!
With my lastests fixs/tweaks/optimisations on my build, many games run now smoother. 

Zelda Wind Waker still unplayable but there is many improvements. Vertex loader is actually the bottleneck.

The game run actually in 1280x1056(IRx2), Scaled EFB Copy checked, Skip EFB Access and Ignore Format Changes checked, Fast Depth Calculation.

Wow you are awesome for your continued optimization for the android version of dolphin! Do you think there's a future for heavy, intensive Wii/GC games on the shield tablet?

Have you been pushing these changes to the github,  or are you currently still on a forked build?

Unfortunately, never. The Shield Tablet is a really good tablet but the processor inside is too limited. My fixs/optimisations attempt to raise the performance but i don't except much 20-25 fps in heavy areas of Zelda Wind Waker. In others lights games, you can easily raise full speed.(Like Luigi's Mansion). Twilight Princess and Mario Sunshine can run well too (actually 16-21).

Actually Ryan(alias Sonicadvance1) work constantly on Dolphin Android but on Aarch64(Armv8). The work he has done is extraordinary and i would not be here if he had not done it all. 

In six months Nvidia will release a new device under Tegra X1 which i think that will be the ultimate gaming tablet for dolphin.
