bug

Just recently the source code for Gecko OS has been released. For those that don't know, Gecko OS is mainly used as an action replay-like homebrew app that already has quite a backlog of codes created for it (See: GeckoCodes.org).

Would it be possible to add Gecko OS cheat code functionality into Dolphin? Otherwise great projects like Brawl+ and Balanced Brawl will probably be stuck on actual Wii hardware forever...

if some1 could show a "geckoOS cheat code" to me i'd love to look at it
im just sure and guessing that geckoOS cheat codes are just plain XXXXXXXX YYYYYYYY format ( address-value format)
O_O!Yeah, this work! The codes work in dolphin!
Example :
No HUD 1.1 Smash Bros Brawl

bug

Oh snap, so gecko os's codes work perfectly with dolphin's built-in AR code system?

Have you tried some more advanced ones like the File Patch code for Brawl? Or heck the entire Brawl+ codeset?

(note that I currently cannot test this out - a sibling that just moved into college has the PC I tested dolphin on - my current one's CPU doesn't have SSE2 support)

Check out the site GeckoCodes.org, there's a ton of Gecko OS codes on there (even for virtual console games!)
Sounds better to implement something that is open source, if it has a license that allows us use their code or something based on it, instead of the buggy and half-implemented AR emulator.
so is this good for the emu or not
Of Brawl+ codes, only a few works with Dolphin's AR. I don't know much of how they work, but from what I read some of them are a different format than the others, which Dolphin can't handle. I have doubts about SD loader codes because simply saving a snapshot to SD crashed the game for me. You could always iso hack (takes lot of time...)

According to its Google Code page (LINK) it's under the GPL license, so it'll be fine.

Isn't this more due to poor SD card emulation in dolphin? I doubt it'll be that buggy forever.

OFFTOPIC: I finally got myself an avatar XD
Strange, every single thing i saved to SD card worked fine...
