I've done everything but still no build/version number, I have to give up on this soon.
Is there any way to hardcode a build/version number in make_scmrev.js? Apparently it reverts the changes I've made to scmrev.h every time I build.

Thank you all for your replies!
You can unload the SCMRevGen project, edit scmrev.h by hand and just build from there.
I got it to work:

Now if I only can get PCSX2 to build.........

Thank you all yet again!
Any reason why you want to generate a false 4.5 release of Dolphin?

No particular reason other than that I want one for myself to play with.

Again, I'M ONLY DOING THIS FOR MYSELF!

You won't be seeing this floating around the web.

This is just for fun, for the first time ever I can get an emulator to build perfectly.
You didn't get it to build perfectly since you had to hack around version info autogeneration.

Maybe, but I didn't get any errors or warnings when I compiled but I see some minor aesthetic errors on the About Dolphin window that I'm gonna correct to make it look more official.
It's as perfect as it gets for me.

I don't ever have to wait for a official release any more, just take the source and make it myself.

EDIT:

Thank you everyone for your support!

I have now corrected the minor aesthetic errors on the About Dolphin windows screen according to how 4.0.2 looked and my 4.5 version works great.
Official or not, I'm glad I accomplished something.
