Seems to run pretty good, yes. I assume Mario Galaxy is one of the most demanding games, right?
Thank you two.
I know it's pretty demanding for the cpu, not sure how hard it is on the graphics side. Should be representative of most games I think.
It's actually one of the more demanding GPU games
OK, I was lucky to order a KFA² GT 730 EX OC for converted $47. That's a good price, now let's hope it's also a (good enough) card and not too loud

It should be slightly better than my GT 640 (I hit 2-3x IR)

Unfortunately, the Intel HD Graphics built into the G3258 is much worse than the HD Graphics 4600 (I should know, the G3258 with integrated graphics what I use with Dolphin). Intel HD Graphics (GT1) has 10 execution units clocked at 1100MHz, Intel HD Graphics 4600 (GT2) has 20 execution units clocked at 1350MHz. The GT2 ends up being more than twice as powerful as the GT1 in terms of pixel-pushing power, which explains why you can get up to 2.5x native resolution, while I can only just handle native resolution for pretty much all games.
Hey Guys,
a quick feedback, altough late: My GT 730 now runs Mario Kart Double Dash with 3x native solution, 16x AF and 4x AA at constant 60fps fullspeed. I have only tried single player so far, but I am confident that it will run 4-player splitscreen aswell, maybe with some quality reductions.
I only have some very few audio stutters with OpenAL (haven't tried the other option), I have to look into it again.
