can i not use save-state with dsp on/off. i played through a bit of my DKCR game with dsp off. then i dumped it from my gc and set it up. not i cant load the save state if i have dsp on. it just crashes. same for my rayman origins. i can turn dsp off and load the save state no prob but if i turn it on and load it immediately crashes. i can play through both game normally with dsp on and save a state then load that one no problem.

are dsp on/off save-states not compatible?

Hello.

Im trying to dump the file, using letter bomb. I installed it on the sd card, launched letterbomb, installed the homebrew channel & bootmii.

Then I put the file from the first post in the root directory of my sd card but what do I need to do after ? Launch bootmii ? launch letterbomb again ? (tried both but no result and when I launch bootmii by the hbc the wiimote doesnt work anymore).

My wii's system menu is 4.3E.

any advice ?
Rename the executable as "boot.dol" first, then try performing one of the following methods:

- Move "boot.dol" into a new sub-folder inside the /apps folder on the SD card (for example like this: /apps/DSP_Dumper/boot.dol), and then run the executable using the Homebrew Channel you just installed
- If you prefer to run Letterbomb again (or any other exploit), place the "boot.dol" file on the root of the SD card
- I believe you can run the executable from BootMii* as well.

Then, hope for the dumper to produce the dsp_rom.bin and dsp_coef.bin files properly.

* Within BootMii, use the POWER button to cycle through the menu or items, and the RESET button to perform a selection; from what I read, a GC controller may work as well.
great post, thanks a lot
