When/if ever you can get around to it, could putting in macro commands for motion stuff have any positive benefit ? I've notice in Zelda TWP that fishing is painful on a mouse/keyboard and as bad on a game pad, maybe setup a macro that has the smooth motion in it needed for the swing back then forward info and bind it to a key, also having some sort of auto fire for shake for the spin attack might be helpful or some sort of macro to simulate shaking better might help make the spin slash work at each key press instead of pressing the button a few times in the hopes it will do a spin slash before you get hit.
Anyway what would be the correct forum for this question, I think support better fits than controllers or general... but what do I know I am an idiot ><
Are you talking about the GC version or the Wii version?

Well if I am talking motion and shaking stuff it be WII would it not? I expect Skyward Sword to be as annoying.
Since you didn't explicitly state it, I had to check.
Why not get a real Wiimote and play like that?
Well you can map multiple buttons to one input for the shake, say key X for all the shake directions for the spin. As for the fishing, I'm sure there are programs out there where you can designate certain key presses to last for a period of time of a press back and then forward.
OR you could rip a copy of the GC version and not worry about that because of the superior controls.
As for Skyward Sword, you need a real Wiimote with motion plus to complete the game.

LOL I know I know I can use the WII mote, ect but hell the waggle mote is annoying so I try not and use it when I can.
That is true. My friend and I did a run through on the Wii last summer, seriously annoying

If they just built the WII around options and precision but nope, then again the whole industry hates you reconfiguring controls... ><
PC gaming master race
Yeah, mapping Wii controls in Dolphin isnt a lot of fun though.

Its functional at least, but begin able to define motion macros (IE I move it this way at that speed then another way at a diff speed, ect) would be nice. It would not be that far from all the options they give you with button mapping but rather than keys to buttons its keys to a set of more than one motion movements. Maybe do it on a time scale of 0.1-9.9 shake direction, tilt direction, swing direction at a certain threshold scale.
Say you want a smooth motion to fishing in the boat, its hold A plus swing/tilt back for 1.5 seconds at 200 threshold then release A and swing/tilt forward at 1.5 seconds at 400 threshold, all bound one key press. Something like that.
I know that if you use the TAS input window, that's all possible, but I don't think it's possible to map functions to it, you have to click on each option.
Look into some third party programs?
