Tatooine trainer changes based on the time of the day?

Anyway, that grid pattern you see is a dithering effect that Factor 5 apply to the when there is a smooth gradient which could have issues with colour banding. Because factor 5 are using anti-aliasing they are limited to a 15bit colour buffer, which would exacerbate any colour banding effect.

Dolphin doesn't emulate this 15bit colour limitation, so the dithering effect isn't needed as much. It also falls down at higher IRs.

It most certainly does! I was surprised by this. I wonder if this would warrant adding a way to change the GC internal clock from inside the emulator without messing with the system clock?

Ok, so I guess this ugly effect is correct emulation then.
Found another game that is fixed, "Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters-Melee" crappy shadows are fixed by this pr.

Edit: Only with d3d though, they are still partially broken with opengl here, nvidia 560ti.

Game(s) tested: Star Wars Rogue Squadron 2
Graphics Card: GTX285
Driver Version: 340.52
Operating System: W7x64

RS2 only shows the ground in a dome up close with both D3D and OGL. I tried the build from this thread and several newer ones.

Made a new portable.txt, disabled fast depth calculation and set DSP to LLE recompiler (sound garbles up midway through the LucasArts logo on both X-Audio and OpenAL on my Creative X-fi Titanium).

Should this work, am I missing a setting?

Thanks!

edit: user error; game works perfectly!

Disable fast depth calculation in graphics -> hacks

Thanks. I did, at least, I thought I did. However I just rebooted, re-downloaded the build from this thread, disabled that setting and now RS2 works perfectly. Off to do more testing (playing).

For people using Arch Linux, try this aur package:

Any word on when this will be merged with Master? Seems like it is working pretty well, as long as the proper settings are in place (particularly for RS).
There's a checklist on PR 1812.
So with the lastest revision. Mario tennis is really playable now ^-^ Stoked.
