is there no option you can manualy set the internal resolution with?
You can set the internal higher resolution for games above what the GUI allows by adding a line to their INI files. Check out
this forum thread for information on handling INIs, particularly under the "Choosing Internal Resolution" section.
I'd recommend using the INI to put in higher internal resolutions.
Option #1: Auto (Multiple of 640x528) in the graphics settings
or
Option #2: "EFBScale = 9" in the .ini
