Sup guys,

yet again another question: I see there are two Dolphin Emulator websites.

->[Link Removed]
-> https://de.dolphin-emu.org/

Why?

PS: I prefer the second one, looks much better.
Edit: Whoops, I just saw this: "Site Feedback and Questions (2 users browsing). Questions or comments about the website or forum should be posted here." Sorry for posting in the wrong section of the forum.

Thanks!

Cheers,
Ocean
second is older
it was official website
it does not have latest version of dolphin
Please remove that first link. The moderator of that site went sorta AWOL on us, no longer making contact when we asked him things. We are the official site now, and are trying to make it so he doesn't get pulled up anymore in goggle searches.
First, moved to Site Feedback and Questions. Second, dolphin-emu.org and any subdomain is official (wiki.dolphin-emu.org, buildbot.dolphin-emu.org, de.dolphin-emu.org, etc). That other website used to be the official one but now it's only stealing ad revenue and accesses from this one, which is the official, not to mention that newer builds simply doesn't exist in that site...
The first one is a fansite which is owned by mamario . A few years ago , the dolphin team decided to move the entire site to mamario's site -> mamario's site used to be the official site ...Stop here , I don't want to say any further since i don't hate him
Now the official Dolphin website is forums.dolphin-emu.org/
Sup guys,

that explains a lot! I have known about the Dolphin project for some time now and I have seen other websites link to the old website, so it was a bit confusing which is which and why.

So are there any legal actions you guys could use to bring that site down (especially if it's stealing ad revenue and accesses from this one)?

Thanks for taking the time to explain!

Cheers,
Alex

No, that site is not doing anything illegal. Dolphin is an open source program so it is fine for other sites to host downloads of it.

Sup,

oh okay, I thought it was pretending to be an official source or *the* official website for the project.

Thanks guys!

Ocean86, you wouldn't have happened to have just purchased a Dolpinbar by any chance?
